Rethinking Teaching; Redesigning Learning for the 21st Century Education
The problem with today’s classroom is that most of us are still teaching the way we were taught in the past. Perhaps, it is about time now that we revisit our conception of teaching and explore new ways to redesign learning so that it is relevant to the growing challenges of preparing our students to function in tomorrow’s world.
This workshop is designed to facilitate participants to rethink their conceptions of teaching and learning so that they are relevant to the needs of 21st century education. During the workshop, participants will first revisit their conception of teaching to make them relevant to the growing challenges of preparing our students to function in tomorrow’s world. In addition, participants will be guided to explore appropriate learning designs for enhancing active and meaningful learning.
