Instructional Design for Learning Facilitators
Instructional Design is the process of designing effective instruction to maximize learning. This process involves analysing learner needs, designing instructional sequence, developing instructional materials, and evaluating the instructional process.
The knowledge of instructional design is necessary to enhance the quality of instruction and learning facilitation, especially in the higher education sector. Instructional design has always taken center stage in the industrial training arena, but has been increasingly popular in education with technological advances, allowing for multi-dimensional delivery of instruction and elearning.
